The cold pressed oil is produced from selected food hemp varieties. It exhibits the typical nutty flavour with a pleasant mild taste. It is famous for its high content in unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and linolenic acid as well as gammalinolenic acid that are present in a composition unique to hemp oil among all plant oils and best for human nutrition. It is free from cholesterol and supports both cell metabolism and the immune system. It is a must as part of a healthy wholefood diet.
Due to its composition it is not suitable for frying but is lovely in salads, salsas and more.

A lovely light oil that I found added a touch of nutty class to my Caesar salad salad. I googled some of the health benefits and 3 of the things I can’t wait to check is its ability to Help Lower Cholesterol, help balance blood sugar levels. I also found an article on line that also Claims it helps prevent Psoriasis and all I can say is that I normally suffer from dry and itchy elbows but while using this hemp seed oil in my salad I found it has helped with the itching and I am not sure if it’s in my head but it doesn’t seem as dry so the verdict is still out.
I will try update again later when I get my bloods taking again and for now I am going to give the hemp seed oil the benefit and say it has helped my elbows.
